<p>Dear account holders,</p> <p>According to the Commission Regulation EU No. 2019/1122 all account holders in the Emission Trading Registry shall notify the national administrator of any change to the information submitted during the account opening within 10 working days after the change.</p> <p>In addition, according to the Article 22 of the Regulation: "At least once every three years, the national administrator shall review whether the information submitted for the opening of an account remains complete, up-to-date, accurate and true, and shall request that the account holder notify any changes as appropriate". In order to review the information, we ask you kindly to send the above-mentioned documentation <strong>until 30th September 2025</strong>.</p> <p>In accordance with Article 22 of Regulation 2019/1122, we hereby request you to send us the following documentation:</p> <ul> <li>a duly completed and signed <strong>Declaration of data necessary for customer due diligence process</strong> - the form is available <a href="https://www.povolenky.cz/../documentation/documentation_files/declaration-en.docx">here</a>,</li> <li>a certified <strong>statement from the Commercial Register</strong> in Czech (not older than 3 months),</li> <li><strong>confirmation of being an active bank account holder </strong>in a Member State of the European Economic Area (not older than 3 months),</li> <li><strong>VAT registration statement</strong>,</li> <li><strong>list of directors</strong> (persons effectively controlling everyday operations of the legal entity),</li> <li><strong>a copy of the ID card*</strong> of Authorized Representatives - the Registry Administrator requires the following clearly visible data: name, surname, document number, date of birth, place of birth, validity of the document to. We recommend to make invisible the other data before sending a copy of the document. In the event that unnecessary data are visible, it is done by the Registry Administrator immediately upon receipt of the document;</li> <li>a certified <strong>Criminal Record statement*</strong> of Authorized Representatives in Czech (not older than 3 months).</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>*Account holders who supplied us with copies of their ID and criminal record statement in 2022, and these documents are still current, do not need to supply them again.</p> <p>If possible, send all documentation electronically via a data mailbox. If it is in your interest, you can also make a transaction to surrender the relevant quantity of allowances now.</p>

<p><strong>On Thursday, 11 January 2024, from 09:00 CET until 13:00 CET</strong>, access to the Union Registry and EUTL Public will be suspended to undertake a technical maintenance and a software upgrade.</p>

<p>We inform you about the effectiveness of Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2023/1642 of 14 June 2023 amending Delegated Regulation (EU) 2019/1122 as regards the modernization of the functioning of the Union Registry. Among other things, this change brings the possibility to set central or voluntary thresholds on transaction for individual accounts in the Union Registry. It will be launched in the Union Registry on September 10, 2023.</p> <p>From this day on, a threshold of <strong>2 million allowances will be set for all standard transactions made in favor of accounts off the defined trusted account list.</strong> This threshold applies to the registries of all EU countries and transactions of the type "Transfer of allowances" or "Transfer of allowances to Switzerland" carried out in favor of accounts off the list trusted account list. If the amount of allowances in the transaction exceeds the threshold, the transaction is not executed.</p> <p>It is also possible to set the following <strong>voluntary thresholds on transactions </strong>for individual accounts:</p> <ul> <li>single transaction limit</li> <li>accumulated daily transactions limit</li> <li>accumulated weekly transactions limit, work week (Monday to Friday)</li> <li>accumulated weekly transactions limit, last 7 days</li> <li>accumulated monthly transactions limit (calendar month)</li> </ul> <p>Voluntary thresholds apply to transactions of the type "Transfer of allowances" or "Transfer of allowances to Switzerland". It applies to transactions in favor of accounts on and off the trusted account list. If the number of units in the transaction exceeds the specified threshold, the transaction is not executed.</p> <p>Setting up a voluntary thresholds of transaction on individual accounts is not mandatory, and it is therefore entirely up to you whether these thresholds apply to your account or not.
